Following the collapse of a mine in the Karma project under CCL’s Kuju area, significant political repercussions ensued, with allegations primarily targeting JLKM leaders. They were accused of illicitly removing bodies from the scene. Subsequently, protests were staged outside the GM’s office with the bodies, leading to a loss of one crore rupees for CCL due to their unlawful actions. A security in-charge has filed an FIR at Kuju OP against six individuals, including two JLKM leaders, Bihari Mahto and Paneshwar Mahto.
