A dramatic incident unfolded in Chandil, Jharkhand, where a woman confronted her husband and another woman on a road in Raghunathpur. The wife, identified as Sanchita Das, a Community Health Officer, was filmed attacking her husband and the other woman with a slipper. The video went viral on social media. Das has filed a complaint alleging dowry demands, physical and mental harassment, and being forced out of her home against her husband, Jitendra Nath Das, and his family. The incident occurred after Das’s husband allegedly brought home another woman, claiming to have married her. Jitendra Nath Das claimed he put sindoor on the other woman’s head to calm his wife, but this escalated the situation. Police are investigating the case, and questions have been raised about the role of the other woman, a warden at a local school.
