A man in Ranchi, Jharkhand, was arrested after threatening to shoot his former girlfriend. The incident unfolded after the woman ended their relationship. The man, identified as Krishna Kumar, a resident of Patna, Bihar, arrived at the woman’s home in the Sukdev Nagar police station area, brandishing a pistol. He threatened to kill her if she refused to marry him. The woman’s cries alerted neighbors, who apprehended Kumar and informed the police. The police arrived at the scene and arrested Kumar, recovering a country-made pistol. Kumar had been working in Ranchi and developed a relationship with the woman, which later turned into a romantic affair. Following a disagreement, the woman broke up with him, leading to the violent threat.
