The Bihar cabinet, in a significant move, has approved a 35% reservation for women in all state government jobs. This decision, made during a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, aims to benefit women residing within the state. The cabinet also sanctioned Rs 105 crore for the Jeevika Cooperative Bank to bolster financial resources. Moreover, the government will provide financial incentives to differently-abled individuals pursuing higher education and approved a diesel subsidy for irrigation. The cabinet also greenlit a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Policy for effective fund management and approved construction projects, including a residential school and road expansions across multiple districts.
