Due to heavy rainfall, all schools up to the 12th grade in the East Singhbhum district of Jharkhand will remain closed on July 10th. District Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner of East Singhbhum, Karn Satyarthi, issued an order to this effect, mandating a holiday for all government, private, and minority schools until the 12th grade. This directive was issued as a precautionary measure and in the public interest, considering the safety of the students and potential disruptions caused by the severe weather conditions. The administration is closely monitoring the situation and will issue further instructions if necessary. Non-compliance with the order will result in action under the Disaster Management Act, 2005.
