CM Dhami highlighted the government’s commitment to resolving issues. For instance, he directed the Chief Engineer of the Irrigation Department to address a complaint regarding a broken irrigation canal affecting a farmer’s field. He also instructed the District Magistrate of Dehradun to act on a complaint about land encroachment and the construction of a canal. Furthermore, he addressed complaints regarding harassment from a builder and a road-related issue, directing the relevant departments to investigate and take action. Separately, the Chief Minister flagged off the Kalash Yatra for the Jalabhishek of the idol of Lord Surya in Kushinagar, initiating the collection of water from various sacred rivers across the country. In a related development, the Uttarakhand government launched ‘Operation Kalanemi’ to tackle individuals impersonating religious figures and deceiving people, emphasizing the state’s commitment to protecting religious sentiments and social harmony.
