In a shocking incident in Saraikela Kharsawa, Jharkhand, a woman allegedly murdered her husband, then escaped with their three children and an unidentified person. The incident occurred in the Satbahni Dheerajganj area of Adityapur. The wife suspected her husband of having an affair. She reportedly slit his throat, set him on fire, and then fled with the children. Police investigations are underway.
The deceased has been identified as Rajesh Kumar Chaudhary, a resident of Giridih, who worked as a lab technician at DD Steel in Kolabira. Rajesh had started living with his wife only on Monday. Prior to that, he lived alone.
According to reports, Rajesh initially resided with friends in the Samridhi Apartment. On Monday, his wife and their three young children arrived in Adityapur. She pressured him to live with her. Rajesh then rented a house from a person named Gorango Mukhi. Neighbors reported that the couple frequently argued. On Thursday, an unknown person visited their home.
A shopkeeper in the neighborhood stated that Rajesh had purchased paneer from his shop and mentioned that his brother-in-law had come to visit. It is suspected that Rajesh’s wife, along with the unknown individual, murdered him that night. After the murder, she fled with their children. Police suspect the wife’s involvement as the door was locked from the outside after the incident. Neighbors informed the police on Saturday after a foul smell emanated from the room.
Rajesh’s brother, who lives in Raipur, said that Rajesh’s wife had visited their home in Giridih a few days earlier, where she had argued and stated that she would not live with Rajesh anymore, citing his inappropriate behavior. She then brought her children to Adityapur from her in-laws’ house.
Rajesh Kumar Chaudhary had moved in with his wife and children to a rented house from Gorango Mukhi on Monday. When neighbors approached the house on Saturday morning after a foul smell, they found Rajesh’s body lying in a pool of blood. They informed the police.
