The auspicious occasion of Shravan month will witness a grand Shiva Mahapurana Katha in Bhilai this year. Renowned storyteller Pandit Pradeep Mishra Maharaj will once again grace the holy land of Bhilai at Jayanti Stadium, narrating the Shiva Katha. The ground-breaking ceremony for this event was conducted a few days ago. Preparations are in full swing for the Shiva Mahapurana, which will take place in Bhilai from July 30th to August 5th, with the presence of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, and both Deputy Chief Ministers.
Day Singh, the founder, patron of the Bol Bam Committee, and Deputy Leader of the Opposition in Bhilai Corporation, stated that SSP Vijay Agrawal of Durg district, ASP Sukhnandan Rathore, City Superintendent of Police Satyaprakash Tiwari, and Prashant Mishra inspected the preparations for the pandal and parking arrangements at the Katha site. Mayor Neeraj Pal, Municipal Health Officer Javed Khan, and in-charge Commissioner of the Corporation were also present, along with officials and employees from P.H.D. and P.W.D. The Mayor congratulated Day Singh on entering the second year, assuring his presence at the Shiva Mahapurana Katha to partake in the divine nectar.
