A Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) bus accident in the Maseran area of Sarkaghat, approximately 60 kilometers from Mandi district, has resulted in a devastating loss of life. At least seven individuals have died, and several others sustained injuries in the incident that occurred on July 24. The Principal Media Advisor to the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh confirmed the tragic event, stating that the administration is providing comprehensive assistance to those affected. Rescue operations are underway, with the injured receiving immediate medical attention. Preliminary reports suggest that a road cave-in, possibly triggered by heavy rainfall, may have caused the bus to veer off the road.
