Speaking at an event organized by the Indian Red Cross Society in Jashpur district, he praised the active participation of citizens in voluntary blood donation and health awareness programs. He noted the critical role of timely blood transfusions in saving lives and called upon the public to participate in this life-saving act. The Chief Minister also announced the government’s commitment to expanding healthcare services, including the recent introduction of ambulance services. He distributed certificates to the life members of the Indian Red Cross Society Jashpur and launched the Blood-Friend Directory, an initiative of the district administration and the Red Cross Society, containing contact details of 480 voluntary blood donors. This directory aims to facilitate easy access to blood for patients in need.
