Travelers are urged to stay updated through official Thai sources, including the TAT Newsroom. Thailand has become a popular destination for Indian tourists, recently emerging as the third-largest source market. The border dispute between Thailand and Cambodia stems from disagreements dating back to the early 20th century, leading to several clashes and escalating tensions. Recent incidents, including exchanges of fire and landmine explosions, have led to border closures, ambassador withdrawals, and retaliatory measures from both sides.
