The operation involved a joint search and cordon conducted by the police, army, and CRPF in the forests of Mulnar near Dachigam National Park. Firing commenced after security forces approached the suspected location, prompting a response from the terrorists. Additional security forces have been deployed to the area to intensify the operation.
