Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is set to inaugurate the Buddha Samyak Darshan Museum-cum-Memorial stupa in Vaishali. The event will see the gathering of Buddhist monks from 15 countries, including China, Japan, and Thailand. This monument is expected to become a significant center for Buddhist followers globally. The stupa’s construction, costing Rs 550.48 crore, features a relic casket of Lord Buddha and is built entirely of stone, without the use of cement or concrete. The complex includes various facilities such as a meditation center, a museum, and a solar energy plant. The grand entrance archway from Sanchi and skylights add to its architectural significance.
