The Jharkhand government is consistently working towards rural development. Plans are being implemented and executed at the ground level in rural areas. Numerous schemes are underway to promote employment and self-reliance. This was stated by Deepika Pandey Singh, Minister of Rural Development, in a press release on Wednesday.
The Hemant Soren government in the state is committed to making villages self-sufficient and bringing prosperity to the lives of the common people. Under the leadership of the Chief Minister, planned and ground-level action is being taken in the direction of rural development. The state government is not only focusing on completing the current works on time but is also seriously working towards future public welfare schemes.
She informed that many schemes are running such as rural road construction, Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MNREGA), and promoting employment and self-reliance through women’s groups working under the Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society (JSLPS). The works passed in the last year are being completed on a priority basis. Simultaneously, new schemes are also being accelerated.
The minister said that her main objective is to complete every public welfare scheme in a time-bound and effective manner. It is the resolve of the state government to make villages self-sufficient, empower women, and bring prosperity and opportunities to every citizen. She said that her thinking is clear and this thinking is the identity of her working style and departmental vision.
