A heartbreaking incident has occurred in Dhourakoat village, where a three-year-old child, Sachin, tragically lost his life after falling into a water-filled pit. The accident took place on Sunday evening while the child was playing near his home. He unknowingly wandered into a deep pit that had been created during stone extraction and was filled with rainwater.
Sachin was the only child of Surendra Nagesh and his wife, born after nine years of marriage. At just three years old, he was the center of joy for the family. His sudden demise has devastated the entire family. When the family members searched for Sachin late in the evening, his body was found floating in the same pit. The sight of the child’s lifeless body shocked the family, and grief enveloped the village.
Following the death of their only son, the father, Surendra Nagesh, is in deep shock. The villagers are also stunned by this tragic incident. Devbhog police have registered a case and initiated an investigation.
