A fun promo has been released by the show’s producers, confirming superstar Salman Khan’s return as host. In addition to the promo, the premiere date for ‘Bigg Boss 19’ has also been revealed.
‘Bigg Boss 19’ is set to premiere on Colors TV and JioHotstar on August 24, 2025, at 10:30 PM.
The official Instagram page of Colors TV shared the promo with the caption, “The game has changed… This time, the housemates will become the government in Bigg Boss! Watch #BiggBoss19, starting August 24th, at 10:30 PM, only on #Colors and @jiohotstar.”
Rumors about celebrity contestants for ‘Bigg Boss 19’ have been circulating on social media. Potential contestants include Amaal Malik, Faisu Malik, Apoorva Mukhija, Dhanashree Verma, Rati Pandey, and Bhavika Sharma. Actress Khushi Dubey has confirmed she was approached for the show, stating, “Yes, it is true, I have been approached for the show. Let’s see, talks are going on, nothing is confirmed as of now. Abhi bas baat chal rahi hai.”
The official list of participating celebrities has yet to be announced.
While most seasons of ‘Bigg Boss’ typically run for three months, this season is expected to extend to five months. According to reports, Salman Khan will host ‘Bigg Boss 19’ for only three months, with Karan Johar, Farah Khan, and Anil Kapoor potentially taking over later.
Karan Veer Mehra won ‘Bigg Boss 18’, with Vivian Dsena as the first runner-up. Avinash Mishra, Rajat Dalal, Esha Singh, and Chum Darang were also finalists.
