Significant strides are being made to enhance Chhattisgarh’s infrastructure following a meeting between Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari. The meeting yielded approval for several crucial road projects, notably a ₹600 crore sanction under the Central Road Fund (CRF). This funding will facilitate the construction and upgrading of multiple roads across the state. Plans to upgrade a two-lane road within the State Capital Region to a four-lane highway were also approved. To alleviate traffic congestion in Raipur, four major bridges will be constructed, with ground-breaking ceremonies scheduled soon. Furthermore, roads connecting Raipur to other districts will be converted from two to four lanes, improving both traffic flow and safety.
