Pushpa Minj, a para-athlete from Ranchi, Jharkhand, who has won gold medals for India in international competitions, is now forced to sell vegetables on the streets to make ends meet. Despite her achievements in para throwball, including gold medals in Thailand, Cambodia, and Nepal, she faces financial hardship and a lack of support from the government. Minj, who is also a postgraduate in geography, is a single-leg amputee but has an unwavering spirit and a strong desire to continue representing her country. She currently earns a meager income selling vegetables, which is insufficient to cover her living expenses and training costs. She appeals for financial assistance and a job to enable her to pursue her athletic career without the burden of poverty.
