Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former US President Donald Trump are reportedly engaged in serious discussions regarding a new comprehensive plan for the Gaza Strip. This plan centers on achieving a ceasefire and securing the release of hostages held by Hamas. The proposal presents Hamas with a clear choice: release all hostages and accept the proposed conditions, or face severe consequences. According to the report, the plan demands the immediate disarmament of Hamas and the release of all hostages. Once these conditions are met, the United States would oversee the establishment of an international administration in the Gaza Strip. A senior Israeli official highlighted the deliberate starvation of hostages as a form of abuse, causing suffering for both the captives and their families. Trump previously suggested the US should take control of Gaza and transform the region into a ‘freedom zone’.
