In Korba district, a man killed his younger brother by beating him with a stick on Sunday. The incident occurred after the younger brother, under the influence of alcohol, created a disturbance, leading to a confrontation. The older brother, angered by the situation, fatally attacked him. No one else was present at the house during the time of the incident as the family members were working in the fields. The incident took place in the jurisdiction of Pali police station.
According to information received, the two brothers, Tulsi Ram (30) and Ram Singh (40), lived in the village of Kodar. They resided in houses close to each other and were both farmers. On the day of the incident, Tulsi Ram returned home drunk and went to his elder brother Ram Singh’s house. He began banging on the door loudly.
After the murder, Ram Singh himself informed the neighbors.
Ram Singh asked him to stop, but Tulsi Ram ignored him and started using abusive language. This angered Ram Singh, who then attacked Tulsi Ram on the head with a stick. Tulsi Ram died at the scene. After the murder, Ram Singh himself went to the neighbors to inform them that he had killed his younger brother.
Upon receiving information from the villagers, the police arrived and arrested the accused. Additional SP Nitish Thakur confirmed that Ram Singh had been arrested. The police are continuing their investigation into the matter.
