The political climate in Bihar is tense following the Election Commission’s special intensive revision (SIR) of the voter list ahead of the state assembly elections. RJD leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, Tejashwi Yadav, claimed his name was not on the voter list, a claim the Election Commission rejected. Following this, allegations surfaced that Tejashwi Yadav possesses two voter ID cards, prompting the Election Commission to issue him a notice.
It’s alleged that Tejashwi Yadav has two identification cards: RAB0456228 and RAB2916120. He mentioned the RAB2916120 card during a press conference. The Election Commission stated that this card was not officially issued. This raises questions about potential legal action against Tejashwi Yadav if he indeed has two ID cards, including the possible penalties he may face.
