Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar, has announced a significant decision regarding the implementation of a domicile policy. This announcement was made through a post on the social media platform X. The post stated that since the government formation in November 2005, continuous efforts have been made to improve the education system. A large number of teachers have been appointed to strengthen the education system. Kumar stated that the Education Department has been instructed to make necessary amendments to the relevant rules to give priority to residents of Bihar (DOMICILE) in the recruitment of teachers. This policy will be implemented from TRE-4. TRE-4 will be conducted in 2025, and TRE-5 will be held in 2026. It has also been directed to conduct STET before TRE-5.
