A significant milestone in Bihar’s sports development is underway with the construction of the Rajgir International Cricket Stadium. Situated in Rajgir, Nalanda district, the stadium is being built on 90 acres of land. With an estimated cost of approximately 633 crore rupees, this state-of-the-art stadium aims to strengthen the state’s sports infrastructure and establish Bihar on the international sports map.
Designed according to the standards of the International Cricket Council (ICC), the stadium will have a seating capacity of around 45,000. It will feature modern amenities for both players and spectators. These include high-tech dressing rooms, advanced practice areas, a press box, a media center, VIP galleries, digital scoreboards, and powerful floodlights, making it fully suitable for hosting international matches.
