Tesla is bolstering its presence in the Indian electric vehicle market with the upcoming launch of its second retail centre in the country. The new Tesla Experience Centre is scheduled to open on August 11th at the WorldMark 3 campus in Aerocity, Delhi. This location will serve customers in the National Capital Region, a key area for India’s electric vehicle initiatives. The new centre arrives just weeks after the inauguration of the first showroom in Mumbai on July 15th, an event attended by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, who welcomed Tesla to the state and invited the company to establish research and development and manufacturing units. The Aerocity centre is in its final construction phase, with an estimated monthly rent of Rs 25 lakh. Images of the outlet have already surfaced on social media, reflecting Tesla’s premium branding. Currently, Tesla offers only one model in India, the Model Y, with prices starting at Rs 59.89 lakh (ex-showroom).
