Tesla is fortifying its presence in the Indian electric vehicle market with the upcoming launch of its second retail center in the country. The new Tesla Experience Centre is scheduled to open on August 11 at the WorldMark 3 campus in Aerocity, Delhi, targeting customers in the National Capital Region, a critical area for India’s EV initiatives. This new center quickly follows the opening of the first showroom at the Maker Maxity Mall in Mumbai on July 15. The Mumbai launch was attended by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, who welcomed Tesla to the state and extended an invitation for the company to establish R&D and manufacturing units. The Aerocity center is nearing completion, with an estimated monthly rent of approximately Rs 25 lakh. Images of the outlet have already been circulating on social media, reflecting the brand’s premium positioning. Currently, Tesla is offering only one model in India, the Model Y, with prices beginning at Rs 59.89 lakh (ex-showroom).
