In Palamu, Jharkhand, a groom brought his bride home with great joy just a month and a half ago, unaware that she would be the one to take his life. The bride did not like the groom; she was in love with someone else. The groom was oblivious to this fact. Though the bride married him due to family pressure, she later conspired with her boyfriend to kill her husband.
The police reported that the girl wanted to marry her boyfriend, but her family arranged her marriage with someone else. Following the wedding, which took place a month and a half prior, the girl and her boyfriend planned to eliminate the husband and carried out their plan on July 31. The incident occurred in Sinjo village, under the jurisdiction of the Navajipur police station.
**Marriage Happened a Month and a Half Ago**
Reshma Ramesh, the Superintendent of Police, Palamu, stated that the girl, a resident of Sinjo in the Navajipur police station area of Palamu, was married to a boy named Sarfaraz on June 22. However, they had been living separately since the wedding. According to the police, the accused wife called her husband, Sarfaraz, to the forest. The husband went to meet her, but her boyfriend was also present there. In the forest, the wife and her lover lured him and killed him by crushing him with stones.
**Search for the Fugitive Boyfriend is Ongoing**
The police have arrested the wife on charges of murdering her husband. SP Reshma Ramesh mentioned that the minor girl killed her husband with the help of her boyfriend. The deceased was a resident of Dahi village in the Mufassil police station area of Latehar district. The wife murdered him in the forest and then covered the body with leaves. The SP said that the girl revealed that she wanted to marry her boyfriend and had planned the murder of her husband. They stated that a search operation has been launched to apprehend the girl’s boyfriend. Police said that the accused boyfriend will be arrested soon.
