A model and digital creator reported a disturbing incident of sexual harassment in Gurugram. The woman was waiting for a cab near an underpass when a man began to act inappropriately. According to her account, the incident occurred in broad daylight. Despite contacting the police and a women’s helpline, she received no immediate assistance. She recorded the encounter on her phone and later shared the distressing experience on social media. The man, after circling her and staring, unzipped his pants and began masturbating in front of her. The woman immediately booked another ride to leave the scene. The Gurugram Police have since taken action after the video was posted online, registering a case and beginning efforts to identify the offender using CCTV footage.
