Suniel Shetty, a well-known actor who began his Bollywood career 33 years ago, has appeared in numerous films. Today, we’re not discussing his films or acting, but rather an incident involving a prank that resulted in people being struck by the police. Shetty, who usually maintains a composed demeanor on and off-screen, once orchestrated a prank that backfired. He distributed fake movie tickets to his acquaintances and others.
Shetty had a childhood friend whose father printed movie tickets. The idea struck Shetty to prank people using counterfeit tickets. On April 1st, he had fake movie tickets printed and distributed them.
Unaware that the tickets were fake, those who received them went to the cinema to watch a film. They were denied entry and a fight ensued. The police then intervened, hitting them with batons for possessing fake tickets.
Shetty’s Bollywood debut was in the 1992 film ‘Balwaan.’ He has since starred in films like ‘Waqt Hamara Hai,’ ‘Pehchaan,’ ‘Dilwale,’ ‘Mohra,’ ‘Gopi Kishan,’ ‘Krishna,’ ‘Hera Pheri,’ ‘Dhadkan,’ ‘Yeh Teraa Ghar Yeh Meraa Ghar,’ and ‘Phir Hera Pheri.’ His recent web series, ‘Hunter,’ recently released its second season on Amazon MX Player, featuring Jackie Shroff in a significant role, and it has been well-received by viewers.
