Tesla is set to bolster its presence in India’s electric vehicle market with the launch of its second retail centre. This new Tesla Experience Centre is slated to open on August 11 at the WorldMark 3 campus in Aerocity, Delhi, targeting customers in the National Capital Region, a key area for India’s EV initiatives. This expansion comes just weeks after the opening of their first showroom at the Maker Maxity Mall in Mumbai on July 15. The Mumbai launch was attended by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, who welcomed Tesla’s entry into the state and extended an invitation to establish R&D and manufacturing units. The Aerocity centre is currently in its final construction phase, with a reported monthly rent of approximately Rs 25 lakh. Images of the outlet have already surfaced online, showcasing the brand’s premium image. Tesla currently offers only one model in India, the Model Y, with prices starting at Rs 59.89 lakh (ex-showroom).
