Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has expressed strong disapproval of the planned meeting between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin in Alaska. Zelensky declared that Ukraine will not cede any territory. His statement was in response to reports suggesting the possibility of a territorial exchange between Ukraine and Russia during the meeting.
Zelensky directly questioned how any agreement could be reached between the two leaders without Ukraine’s involvement. He stated that such a decision would be a disastrous move against peace, destined to fail before it begins. Zelensky emphasized that any decision against Ukraine is a decision against peace and will achieve nothing. He asserted the need for genuine peace, which everyone respects.
