The Ministry of Tribal Affairs is launching the Aadi Karmayogi campaign to empower tribal communities in India. This initiative aims to uplift the vast tribal population by creating a cadre of over 2 million trained transformative leaders across 30 states and union territories, spanning more than 1 lakh tribal-dominated villages. The campaign focuses on preserving traditional culture and improving coordination with state institutions to ensure sustainable development at the grassroots level. The campaign aims to improve education, health, nutrition, and livelihoods, while also safeguarding traditional culture and improving engagement with state institutions. Supported by a multi-tiered training structure and a dedicated digital platform, the campaign strives to ensure effective and sustainable development in rural areas.
