In a shocking incident, a woman in the Jagdishpur area of Raebareli district, Uttar Pradesh, assaulted her husband, resulting in the severing of his genitals. The victim, identified as 38-year-old Ansar Ahmed, was attacked by his second wife, Nazneen Bano, following an argument. He was swiftly transported to a hospital and subsequently referred to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Raebareli, for medical attention. Authorities have taken the woman into custody and initiated an investigation. In a separate development, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) successfully located and rescued a minor girl who had been missing since August 2023 from Bardhaman, West Bengal. The girl was found in Pali, Rajasthan, and the CBI’s action followed a High Court order transferring the case after local and state police investigations.
