Several leaders joined the party of Tej Pratap Yadav, the elder son of RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav. They were welcomed at a gathering held at Tej Pratap Yadav’s official residence in the capital.
Another party has decided to enter the electoral arena in Bihar for this year’s assembly elections. The Prautishta Bloc, India (PBI) announced its first candidate at a press conference in the capital on Tuesday, nominating Professor Mahendra Pratap Singh, former head and dean of the Commerce Department at Patliputra University, to contest from the Kumhrar constituency. The party is conducting a phased process to select candidates committed to ethical and social development and harmony for all seats in the Bihar Legislative Assembly.

Former minister Chhedi Ram joined the Congress. At a program held on Tuesday at the Pradesh Congress headquarters, Sadaqat Ashram, Chhedi Ram, along with hundreds of his supporters and public representatives, took Congress membership. His son, Rakesh Kumar Ram, also joined the party. On this occasion, Chhedi Ram said that the Congress is the true party of the Dalits and the underprivileged. Pradesh Congress President Rajesh Ram, after welcoming Chhedi Ram into the party, said that all sections of society have given a chance to all political parties and today everyone believes that the Congress party alone gives proper representation in power to people of all sections. Chhedi Ram is a senior politician whose experience will definitely benefit the Congress party.
The Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party has made a significant claim. The party says that a major split is about to occur in the party of Union Minister Chirag Paswan. Addressing a press conference organized by the Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party and Dalit Sena in the capital’s Kaushalya State on Tuesday, National Spokesperson of Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party and Dalit Sena Shravan Kumar Agarwal heavily criticized LJP Ram Vilas President Chirag Paswan and his party.
Agarwal said that there would soon be a massive split in Chirag Paswan’s party. Many members are resigning from the party in various districts every day. There is a huge exodus in Chirag’s party. Dedicated workers of Ram Vilas Paswan from our party are joining our party under the leadership of Pashupati Kumar Paras and Surajbhan Singh. Many leaders and officials of his party want to join our party. On Sunday, 129 leaders from Chirag’s party collectively resigned from the party and made several serious allegations against the two MPs of Chirag’s party.
Agarwal said that when Chirag’s party and home are on fire and there is turmoil, instead of gathering his party workers, he is making nonsensical and baseless allegations against our party leaders and us in frustration. A major split had occurred in the party before due to Chirag Paswan’s dictatorial attitude.
The constituent party of the Mahagathbandhan, CPI(ML), says that keeping the public and political parties in the dark is detrimental to the democratic process. Shankar, Sucheta Dey, Shweta Kumari, Pratima Inghapi, former MLA of Bagodar Vinod Singh, Bihar State Secretary Kunal, Dhirendra Jha, Amar, MP from Karakat Raja Ram Singh, Shashi Yadav, Meena Tiwari, Satyadev Ram, Gopal Ravidas, Sandeep Saurabh, Virendra Prasad Gupta, Arun Singh, along with Central Committee members from Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Punjab, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, etc., participated.
The meeting discussed the ongoing SIR process in Bihar and its results in depth. The party expressed deep concern and anger, saying that we have sent many serious complaints to the Election Commission on the party’s pad, but the commission claims that no political party has filed any complaint so far. This attitude is not only misleading but also against the basic spirit of democracy.
