Mahindra & Mahindra, in collaboration with Warner Bros., the producers of films based on DC Comics, has launched a special edition of its first electric SUV, the BE 6 Dark (Batman Edition). This electric car features designs and features inspired by Batman films and comics, making it distinct from other dark-themed vehicles.
Bookings for this special edition electric car will begin on August 23rd. Deliveries will commence on September 20th, which is Batman Day. Only 300 units will be produced, making it a collector’s item. The price is set at ₹27.79 lakh ex-showroom. This edition is a special opportunity for those seeking a superhero-themed SUV.
Regarding its design features, the car boasts a special satin black body color. There’s a Batman decal on the front door, a Dark Knight badge on the tailgate, and Batman logos on the fenders, bumpers, and reverse lamps. It has 19-inch wheels, though a 20-inch option is also available. The hub caps feature the Batman logo.
The brakes and springs have Alchemy Gold paint. The infinity roof displays the Dark Knight trilogy symbol. Inside, there is a Night Trail carpet and a Batman logo projection. It is more than just a car; it is a salute to the guardian of Gotham City on wheels.
Inside, the dashboard features a brushed Alchemy plate with the edition number. There’s a gold-colored frame around the driver’s cockpit. Suede and leather seats have golden accents. Dark Knight trilogy badging is present. Pinstripe graphics and branding are on the dashboard. The Batman logo is also on the steering wheel, controller, EPB, and key fob.
The exclusive Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition electric SUV is based on the Pack Three variant. It has a 79 kWh battery pack that can provide a range of 682 km on a single charge, according to ARAI. It is a rear-wheel-drive SUV with a powerful motor in the rear axle. This unit generates 286 hp of power and 380 Nm of torque.
