On Independence Day, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced significant news for those preparing for government jobs. He stated that for preliminary exams in upcoming recruitment drives, candidates will only need to pay a fee of ₹100. Furthermore, candidates appearing for the main examination will not be required to pay any exam fees. The Chief Minister mentioned that this decision by the state government will benefit lakhs of youth across the state. Kumar highlighted the government’s commitment to providing more opportunities for government jobs and securing the future of the state’s youth. He expressed his pleasure in announcing that a uniform fee structure has been decided for all state-level government job exams conducted by various commissions (Bihar Public Service Commission, Bihar Staff Selection Commission, Bihar Technical Service Commission, Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission, Central Selection Board of Constable, etc.). This includes a significant reduction in examination fees for candidates.
