In Ramgarh, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh paid his respects at the ancestral village of the late Shibu Soren, offering floral tributes to his photograph. Singh described the passing of Dishom Guru Shibu Soren as an irreparable loss. He expressed this sentiment on social media platform X, stating that the tribal community had lost its greatest warrior after the death of Lord Birsa Munda. Singh mentioned that he had met and spoken with Dishom Guru on numerous occasions, and was deeply impressed by his simplicity and resilience. He conveyed that with his demise, the people of Jharkhand had lost not only a popular leader but also a guardian. The Defense Minister also met with Soren’s son, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, and his family to express his condolences, praying for strength during this difficult time. Former Union Minister Ashwini Kumar Choubey, MP Pappu Yadav, and former Rajya Sabha MP RK Anand also visited Nemra, offering their tributes to the departed leader and expressing their sympathies to Chief Minister Hemant Soren and his family.
