Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, is making headlines with his upcoming series, ‘Ba***ds of Bollywood.’ The series marks his directorial debut, generating significant buzz. A special Q&A session with fans, hosted by Shah Rukh Khan on X, offered insights into the project. The first look of the series has now been revealed, showcasing Aryan in a style reminiscent of his father.
The 1-minute 26-second video begins with the title track from the film ‘Mohabbatein.’ Shah Rukh Khan’s voice then introduces the series, followed by glimpses of Aryan. Initially, viewers might mistake Aryan for Shah Rukh Khan himself.
The first look features several actors and then introduces Aryan Khan, who brings a twist to the story. He appears to emulate his father’s mannerisms, declaring, “Thoda zyada ho gaya na? Aadat daal lo, because mera show bhi thoda zyada hai.” (A bit much, right? Get used to it, because my show is a bit much too.) The series is a portrayal of Bollywood.
The first look also features Bobby Deol and Mona Singh. The series promises a blend of humor and action. Aryan is not only directing the series but also writing it. The preview is set to be released on August 20 on Netflix.
The first look has received positive responses, with comments comparing Aryan to Shah Rukh Khan. Shah Rukh Khan also shared the first look on X, writing, “Aap ne maanga aur Netflix ne poora kar diya, yeh thoda zyada ho gaya nahi?” (You asked for it, and Netflix delivered; isn’t it a bit much?)
