Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan have been excluded from Pakistan’s T20I team for the upcoming Asia Cup. The team announcement confirms their absence, while Fakhar Zaman has been included after recovering from injury. This marks the first time in eight years that Babar Azam will not participate in the Asia Cup. The tournament is scheduled to take place from September 9th to 28th in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Prior to the Asia Cup, Pakistan will compete in a tri-series against Afghanistan and the UAE. The team will commence a practice camp at the ICC Academy on August 22nd.
