A distressing incident has ignited public outrage following the death of a 28-year-old man in a road accident. Shockingly, the Telangana police were filmed transporting the deceased individual’s body on a pushcart due to the absence of an available ambulance. The incident, captured on video, quickly circulated online, drawing widespread condemnation.
The accident occurred on a Sunday. Mogulayya, riding his two-wheeler, was struck by a tipper lorry at Shivaji Chowk. The collision happened on a busy, one-way road, resulting in the man’s immediate death, according to official reports.
Upon their arrival, the police contacted for an ambulance to transfer the body to the Kosgi government hospital, located a short distance from the accident scene, for a post-mortem examination. However, the ambulance failed to arrive. Faced with the urgency of the situation and the need to move the body, the police opted to use a pushcart, typically used for selling vegetables, to transport the deceased.
This decision to utilize a pushcart has provoked strong reactions from local residents, who have criticized the authorities for demonstrating a lack of sensitivity and for the absence of appropriate arrangements.
