Mahindra has revealed the Vision S concept SUV. The Vision S is likely to join the Mahindra Scorpio family, alongside models like the Scorpio N and the Classic Scorpio. The Vision S joins other Vision concepts including the X, T, and SXT. The front of the Vision S features LED headlights, a grille with LED elements, and the signature twin peaks logo. The bumper incorporates a radar unit and parking sensors. The SUV also includes roof-mounted lights and pixel-shaped fog lamps. For off-road capabilities, the Vision S is equipped with cladding on the doors and wheel arches and rides on 19-inch wheels with unique rims. Side-mounted cameras replace traditional ORVMs. The rear features inverted tail lamps and a spare wheel with Vision S branding. Inside, the Vision S introduces a new layout with a steering wheel featuring VISION S lettering, a digital driver’s display with updated graphics, and an infotainment screen running Mahindra’s new NU UX system with wireless smartphone connectivity. Dual-tone upholstery, redesigned door trims, premium seats, and a panoramic sunroof are also present. The Vision S is built on Mahindra’s NU-IQ platform, which supports SUVs between 3,990 mm and 4,320 mm in length. It is designed to accommodate petrol, diesel, hybrid, and electric powertrains, and supports both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive layouts. An ICE version is expected, potentially with a 1.2-litre turbo petrol or a 1.5-litre diesel engine.
