On Monday, Dr. Mohan Yadav, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, extended his best wishes to the people of the state and the country on the occasion of the Rajadhiraj Baba Mahakal’s royal procession in Ujjain. He sought blessings from Baba Mahakal for the welfare and a prosperous life for the people of the state. Throughout the country, processions dedicated to Lord Shiva are carried out from the full moon day of the month of Shravan to the full moon day. However, according to the traditions of North and South India, Baba Mahakal’s procession also takes place for two Mondays of Bhadwa (Bhadrapada). Today, in Ujjain, Baba Mahakal took his final (royal) procession, touring the city and inquiring about the well-being of his devotees. Baba offered divine darshan to the devotees in his Rajadhiraj form.
