The Redmi 15 5G smartphone has been launched in the mid-range segment. The phone boasts impressive features, including support for two years of OS upgrades and four years of security updates. It also incorporates AI features such as Google Gemini and Circle to Search. For enhanced sound quality, the phone is equipped with Dolby-certified speakers. The phone is available in three variants: 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB. The 6/128GB variant is priced at Rs 14,999, the 8/128GB variant at Rs 15,999, and the top-end 8/256GB variant at Rs 16,999. Sales will commence on August 28th through Xiaomi’s website, retail stores, and Amazon. The Redmi 15 5G will compete with smartphones like the Motorola G85 5G (priced at Rs 15,999 on Flipkart) and the POCO X7 5G (priced at Rs 16,999 on Flipkart).
Specifications include a 6.9-inch full HD+ resolution display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 850 nits peak brightness, and a 288Hz touch sampling rate. It is powered by a Snapdragon 6S Gen 3 processor. The camera setup includes a 50MP dual rear camera and an 8MP front camera, with AI Beauty, AI Sky, and AI Erase features. A robust 7000mAh battery provides power, supporting 33W wired charging and 18W wired reverse charging.
