Deepika Padukone is poised for a comeback, having taken a break after the birth of her daughter, Dua. She had already signed several projects before her hiatus and is now preparing to return to work. Padukone will soon be seen in Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘King’ and Allu Arjun’s AA22xA6, with a major update on her upcoming projects. Recent reports indicate that Padukone is set to dedicate 100 days to filming for the Allu Arjun and Atlee film, an 800-crore project. However, she will begin working with Shah Rukh Khan in ‘King’ before starting on the Allu Arjun film. Padukone is expected to commence work on the Allu Arjun film in November, where she will be involved in action-packed sequences. Atlee has designed special looks and weaponry for her character, promising a never-before-seen avatar. The film is rumored to involve parallel universes, with Allu Arjun portraying three different characters. The film is set to utilize advanced technology, possibly incorporating a universe similar to ‘Avatar,’ and is tentatively scheduled to be shot until September 2026, with a planned release in the second half of 2027. Meanwhile, Padukone is anticipated to start her work in ‘King’ with Shah Rukh Khan in October, marking her return to the industry after motherhood. Both films are slated to be completed by 2026.
