Hero MotoCorp has launched the 2025 Glamour X in the Indian market. The motorcycle has a starting price of ₹ 89,999 (ex-showroom). The new Hero Glamour X features design changes and introduces four first-in-segment features. The Glamour X will be available in two variants: drum and disc. The disc brake variant is priced at ₹ 99,999 (ex-showroom). Bookings for the bike will begin on August 20th.
The Hero Glamour X was designed with four key factors in mind: style, technology, comfort, and performance. The 125cc segment is one of the fastest-growing in India, with sales increasing by 19% annually to 3.6 lakh units. Hero already has three products in this segment: Super Splendor XTEC, Glamour, and Xtreme 125R. It features a new bass-heavy signature exhaust, and Hero claims it delivers better mileage.
The new Hero Glamour X features a fresh look, including H-shaped LED headlights and taillights, along with LED turn indicators. Wide nylon handlebar grips and an improved pillion seating enhance the look and rider comfort. The wide handlebars and slightly forward-placed footpegs provide a comfortable ride. The 790mm seat height and 170mm ground clearance ensure easy handling for city and highway rides.
The Glamour X includes features like ride-by-wire technology, an electronic throttle body, and cruise control. It also offers a kick-start option, which is not present in many modern bikes. It also has a panic brake alert for emergencies and an ambient light sensor that automatically adjusts the instrument cluster’s theme.
The color LCD has over 60 features, including turn-by-turn navigation, ride mode selection, gear position indicator, distance-to-empty, i3s on/off indicator, and time and cruise mode status, making it one of the most feature-rich bikes in its segment. For added convenience, the Glamour X also has under-seat storage, capable of holding two mobile phones, a tool kit, and a first-aid kit. It also includes a 2A Type-C USB charging port for fast charging of smartphones.
The power comes from an advanced Sprint-EBT 125cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke fuel-injected engine, which generates 11.4 bhp at 8,250 rpm and 10.5 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. A balance shaft and silent cam chain help reduce vibrations, resulting in smoother driving. Hero has also optimized the cam profile and gear ratios for improved throttle response.
The bike has three riding modes: Eco, Power, and Road. The exhaust note gives it a look of a larger bike, while Hero’s AERA technology further improves throttle accuracy and refinement. Riders have the option of both self-start and kick-start.
The bike is available in five color options. The drum brake variant comes in Matte Magnetic Silver and Candy Blazing Red, while the disc brake variant comes in Metallic Nexus Blue, Black Teal Blue, and Black Pearl Red.
