A case of a baby swap has emerged from the Sri Krishna Medical College & Hospital (SKMCH) in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. Chanchala Kumari from Vijayi Chhapra village gave birth via normal delivery. The family was informed by a nurse that she had delivered a baby boy, leading to celebrations. However, upon returning home with the newborn, the family discovered the baby was a girl. They immediately returned to the hospital, accusing the nursing staff of the mix-up.
Police arrived at the scene and began an investigation. Initial findings revealed that the Bed Head Ticket (BHT) indicated the newborn was a boy. The family is using this as evidence to support their claim of a baby swap.
