The state government has appointed qualified young individuals to various government departments under the Chief Minister’s Good Governance Fellowship (CMGGF) scheme. An order has been issued by the Ministry in this regard. According to the issued order, a total of 36 youths have been posted in different departments. The Chief Minister’s Good Governance Fellowship scheme was launched to strengthen good governance-related works in the state.
As per information, the 2-year course of this scheme is divided into 8 stages. In the first phase of the scheme, a one-month academic session on public policy was organized for the youth selected by IIM Raipur. The second phase of the scheme sees the fellows being posted to departments from August 18, 2025, where they will not only gain a deep understanding of government work, but also contribute to the implementation of developmental policies and programs. The Department of Good Governance and Convergence is the nodal department for this scheme.
