North Delhi Strikers, batting first, recovered from a shaky start to post a competitive total of 193/6 in their 20 overs. Vaibhav Kandpal played a composed innings, scoring 73 off 40 balls, combining calculated risks with powerful hitting. Arjun Rapria contributed 33 off 19 balls, and Gagan Vats added a quickfire 18 off 4 balls, though they fell short of reaching 200.
Siddhant Sharma led the Warriors’ bowling attack, taking 3 wickets for 24 runs in his four overs. His timely wickets disrupted partnerships and prevented the Strikers from maximizing their scoring potential in the final overs.
Chasing 194, the Warriors lost opener Sanat Sangwan early on to Harshit Rana. However, Priyansh Arya and Rishabh Drall stabilized the innings with a 67-run partnership for the second wicket, shifting momentum in the Warriors’ favor. Drall scored 38 off 25 balls before being caught out.
Arya top-scored with a dynamic 76 off 30 deliveries. His aggressive batting strategy disrupted the Strikers’ bowling plans and lowered the required run rate. He was eventually caught by Sarthak Ranjan off Vikas Dixit, but his performance set the foundation for a successful chase.
Keshav Dabas and Dhruv Singh ensured the Warriors completed the chase without further setbacks. Dabas remained unbeaten with 46 off 35 balls, and Dhruv added a valuable 26 off 17, as the Warriors completed their chase in 18 overs.
