Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a phone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron. Sharing details of the call on X, PM Modi wrote, “Had a very good conversation with my friend President Macron. Exchanged views on efforts for peaceful resolution of conflicts in Ukraine and in West Asia. Reaffirmed our commitment to further strengthen the India-France strategic partnership.”
The conversation between PM Modi and the French President occurred at a time when efforts to establish a ceasefire in Ukraine and Gaza have intensified.
