A devastating road accident claimed the lives of two young men in the Pamgarh police station area. The incident occurred near the Kuthara Nava Talab when a speeding scooter collided with a truck parked on the side of the road. The victims, identified as 18-year-old Sumit Kashyap and 19-year-old Prahlad Kashyap, were on their way to pick up friends for a rehearsal for a performance at a Ganesh festival. The impact of the collision resulted in serious injuries, and they were rushed to the district hospital in Janjgir with the help of Dial 112. Despite medical efforts, both were declared dead upon arrival. Following the accident, local villagers expressed their anger and deflated the tires of the truck. Police have taken the truck into custody and are currently on the scene, attempting to pacify the situation. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination.
