During his visit to Japan, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai held discussions with senior representatives of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) in Tokyo, including Kazuo Nakajo, Yuji Endo, and Harunobu Hara, to explore investment and industrial cooperation opportunities. The meeting highlighted the vast potential of Chhattisgarh in sectors such as IT, textiles, aerospace, automobiles, electronics, and clean energy. The Chief Minister invited JETRO representatives to seek new investment opportunities in the state’s rapidly progressing economy.
Chief Minister Sai emphasized that Chhattisgarh is an emerging industrial and investment destination located in the heart of India. The state government is attracting global investors through transparent policies, streamlined processes, and robust industrial infrastructure. The discussions with JETRO representatives are expected to strengthen new avenues for economic cooperation between Chhattisgarh and Japan. During his visit, the Chief Minister also observed the ‘Deep Space – To the Moon & Beyond’ exhibition, organized on the occasion of National Space Day.
On this occasion, he noted that this rich glimpse of space science and innovations would provide new direction and inspiration to the Space Manufacturing Cluster being developed in Rajnandgaon district of Chhattisgarh with the support of the Government of India. Chief Minister Sai expressed confidence that the Japan visit would yield concrete results in the fields of investment, innovation, and technology transfer. He stated that the Chhattisgarh government’s goal is not only to make the state industrially self-reliant but also to give it a strong identity on the world stage through international cooperation.
